The Camp Fire Shed Project, Round Two

The Camp Fire Shed Project is coordinated by Paradise Adventist Church. The September build is the second round of construction, following November of last year, where over 200 sheds were built and delivered to Paradise Ridge residents. The second round of shed building was originally scheduled for April of this year but delayed due to COVID-19. The project was again interrupted last week by the nearby North Complex Fire. Despite poor air quality and a decreased availability of volunteers, the project will continue.

Among the donors to the project in the community, the Paradise Rotary Foundation has provided two grants totaling $100,000 for the construction and delivery of the sheds to Camp Fire survivors. Watch the video about the project below!

Paradise Adventist Church is a leader on the Ridge for the long-term recovery efforts. Among their many programs for community members of the Ridge include The Home Kit, Love Delivers, and The Camp Fire Shed Project. To learn more, please visit https://paradiseadventist.org.
